The New York Jets are set to craft a great game plan without Ryan Fitzpatrick on their lineup. The season is soon to start, and the waiting game is taking its toll not just on the players and the team, but for the fans as well. According to Adam Schefter, the team has been doing contingency planning in case Fitz does not take the offer.
Geno Smith, Bryce Petty, and rookie player Christian Hackenberg are on talks for being Fitz’s replacement. But Schefter does not dismiss the possibility that the team can bring another quarterback who is not on their current roster.

The Jets’ coach himself, Tedd Bowles, has told reporters that he’s done waiting for Ryan Fitzpatrick. His strong statement was not much of a shock for NFL fans, since they saw this coming anyway. Bowles told the press about his take on the issue at the conclusion of the Jets’ mini-camp. He also said Fitzpatrick’s absence did not affect the team’s game, as they are going on full-speed with training their new lineup. Besides, they have Geno Smith and other stunning players to boost their team on the field.

Fitzpatrick is not the only player having contract issues. Muhammad Wilkerson is displeased with talks regarding his contract. He believes his stats show that his game deserves a spot, but the management is not giving him a chance to do what he does best.
